Ted Jordan was a laid back kind of bloke. Always greeted me with a smile at the race track. I’d be out shooting motorsport at Barbagallo Raceway and always winced and held my breath during the historic racing category. Particularly during the first corner. Despite the expensive machinery these guys never held back and it partly cemented my love of classic cars and the desire to see them driving flat out instead of gathering dust in dark garages. Ted passed away a few years back but his son Eden in Melbourne still takes his 356 on roads and tracks at full throttle. Porsche 356 SC 1964 race car, shot for Excellence Magazine.
